Lorem Ipsum is never a good sign

Your new client site has launched on time, yay! Then they spot placeholder text in the footer. Whoops!

Helping you launch, with fewer headaches

Launching a client’s website doesn’t have to be a headache. Whether you’re a do-it-yourself type or someone who’d rather have a helping hand, I’ve got you covered.

Do-It-Yourself
If you like to be in the driver’s seat, my straightforward checklist will guide you through every step of launching (or relaunching) your client’s site.

No marketing jargon, just clear, actionable tasks for you or your client to tick off in the online portal.

Need a helping hand? (Coming soon)
Over the coming weeks I’ll be putting together a wide range of how-to guides (or linking to official guides), to help those less familiar with some of the checklist steps.

This isn’t us, but it looks good.

Welcome to the Launch Portal

  • See your pre / post launch checklist – Manage your various checklists from one place. No more forgotten steps or last-minute panic!
  • Provide client access – Invite your client to take a peek. They can see how things are moving along without bugging you every five minutes.
  • Update checklist items status – Finished something? Great! Mark it as completed. Waiting on the client? No problem, set it as pending. Easy peasy.
  • Track your progress – Watch each progress bar fill up. It’s oddly satisfying, trust me.

Optional Extras (Paid per hour)

  • Reviewing pre / post launch checklists – I will check a staging / production site and review the relevant checklist items so you can see your state of readiness and what tasks are still outstanding.
  • In-depth site audit – I’ll use my in-house website crawler to perform a deep audit of your client’s site, checking for common issues, like broken links, unnecessary redirects, placeholder text, broken emails + a lot more. Required fixes will be added to your additional tasks list.
  • Done-for-you content fixes – Fixing typos or adding missing mailto: to email addresses shouldn’t take up your time. Let me fix these for you as I find them. Anything I can’t resolve will be added to the task list for your attention.

Small print: Optional extras are charged per hour and can be used interchangeably. Pre-purchase in bulk (10+ hours) and gain bonus hours! Larger agencies, or those looking for white label based support are welcome to get in touch to discuss how I can help.

Early adopter / BFCM prices are now open!

Order today for early access to the portal, ahead of a full launch in Jan 2025. The BETA (soft launch) is now available, with additional support guides and videos in progress. The $99 early adopter / BFCM price will increase to $199 at the end of the year.

The Technical Bit

The devil is in the detail, so here’s a little more detail.

Initial Launch Plans

  • Site Launch checklist – The initial pre / post launch checklists will include a section for WordPress, however the majority of tasks are applicable for all websites so you’ll be able to delete those that aren’t applicable to your website platform of choice.
  • Website Audits – My in-house website crawler requires standard HTML to be provided by your website platform, which means WordPress, Wix, SquareSpace style sites should be fine. If you’ve built a custom JavaScript based site then please get in touch so we can run a no-obligation test crawl to confirm support or not.
  • Adding a per page checklist – After the initial launch which includes checklists and additional tasks, I will look at including an import facility which will allow you to populate a new “Site Content” list with visible pages from your site so you can confirm browser / mobile tests on a page by page basis.
  • Import your own checklists – While I’ve put together my own comprehensive list, flexibility is always key if you have your own lists to reuse. Import your own by using a simple Excel template so you can re-use your existing lists.
  • Portal Location – During the beta period the LTW portal is located in the UK South Azure region. Once fully launched, and there are enough customers to fund it, a second location will be hosted in the USA.
